Prof. Dr. Aimo Kannt

Aimo Kannt, PhD is Head of Drug Discovery and Preclinical Research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology ITMP and Professor of Translational Drug Research at Goethe University Frankfurt. After his PhD and postdoctoral training at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics and prior to joining Fraunhofer, he worked for 20 years in different roles at Sanofi and its predecessor companies, in the areas of assay development and high-throughput screening, cardiovascular and diabetes drug discovery.
