Pablo co-founded HeartBeat.bio and co-developed the cardioid technology in Sasha Mendjan’s laboratory at IMBA in Vienna. He obtained his PhD in molecular biology from the University of Vienna as part of the Vienna Biocenter PhD program. Prior to that he worked on cardiac tissue engineering in the laboratory of Brenda Ogle at the University of Minnesota and obtained a master’s and bachelor’s degree in tissue engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien.
